Lewis Gun

The legendary machinegun of the British Army, designed in the US, perfected in Britain and used in WW1. It was easibly indentified by it's distinctive cooling shroud, and the unusual pan magazine, that fed the gun from above using a horizontal rotary configuration. This reliable weapon saw use in WW2 by both Britain and Japan, and was used until the end of the Korean war.

Vickers Mk.I Machine Gun

A modification of the famed Maxim Gun, created by Vickers and fielded by the British Army from First World War all the way up to the 1960s. It simplified and streamlined the Maxim design, creating a weapon that was nearly fullproof and pratically never jammed. During WW1, an air-cooled aircraft version was also designed, although this variant saw little use after the First World War.
