Yup that is where I looked and they are not there. I'll take a screenshot next time I'm on my server, unfortunately I'm not at my pc right now

I added a picture above that shows where the buttons are. I'll have more time next week to add more information to all the mods.

@Doncdxx I have been unable to locate this "button" in the production panel that allows for the production of Duranium plates in any assembler be it basic, survival kit, or the regular assembler. I had removed the mod, redownloaded it, switched over to the recently updated version in the link above in your description. The result is that there is no way to build the required components to weld the Duranium armor blocks. I'm hopeful for a quick reply as I have a number of upset players on my server as a result of the removal of the exotic assembler without notice. I understand the trials Keen puts us all through but changes like this need advanced notice. Thanks

No offense taken. I haven't updated in a while because patches have broken the series several times in the past. Now that beta is over, this recent update to the series should be the last time I have to change them, unless bugs are found.

Whenever there are any changes to the mod series or any new additions, I post it here https://forum.keenswh.com/threads/sci-fi-ore-series.7386943/

Also just a really sad truth is I assume all the good mods to be dead since most of the good mods and mod authors either die out or quit updating things after the initial fixes. Especially after SE updates. So I didn't mean to offend at all for assuming the mod was dead.

Also steam's workshop being just... terrible at times doesn't help.

Ohhhhh! It's a whole new section! I see that now. Thanks.

However I wish that this had some kind of heads-up before happening. The change split an entire section of my station off. No biggy though...

I checked that and I didn't see the mod items. Also the mod page said it was last updated in 2018 so you can understand my confusion. It now says March 24th.

Steam workshop was also down a little bit ago for me so this is all just getting confusing for me.

I'll check again.

I just updated it yesterday, so it's definitely not dead. Instead of this mod series having it's own assembler, it just adds another button to the normal assembler. If you look at the buttons on the production page where you choose components, tools, etc., you'll see a new button that has everything for the mod there.

I don't mean to ask on a mod that's not really being updated but...

My exotic assemblers just vanished and now I can't build them. They just don't exist in my build list anymore. Is this a bug or did something happen to the mod?

I use this a lot and I'd really like to not see it dead.

I had to go look around for the solution and I finally found it. Back when I first made this almost 3 years ago, there was an alternate set of hull blocks that were supposed to smooth out for more smooth shapes blending into each other. I incorporated those into the mod, but then Keen discontinued support for them not long after as they never really worked correctly, but I never removed them from my hull mods. I'm going to keep them in, but I'll move them away from a default position so they're only there if you search for them.

Just replace all the blocks with smooth at the end of their name and replace them with the version that doesn't have that at the end. For future reference, smooth blocks can be identified by a square with a diagonal line in it at the bottom right of the block icon.
