Beskrivelse
NOTE: This is a legacy mod. It is for Stellaris version 2.1. (Niven)

This mod adds some buildings and technologies related to terraforming. Specifically terraforming of worlds which are already inhabited.

Originally, it provided the only way to terraform inhabited worlds, but PDX simply added that option with 1.6 [Adams], so it got a bit of a rework.

The technologies added are Planetary Geoengineering and Applied Geophysics.

Planetary Geoengineering unlocks a series of buildings which provide some research, planet boosts, and negate the 20% penalty that pops normally get when living on a world which is being terraformed.
Applied Geophysics makes terraforming a bit faster and more rewarding - providing research points whenever a planet is terraformed or a tile blocker is cleared.

Features
  • Two (2) new technologies to enhance terraforming and planetary gameplay without directly adding new terraforming capabilities.
  • Two (2) new buildings which provide some research and negate the terraforming unhappiness penalty!
  • Three (3) building upgrades which provide some planet boosting and resource specialization.

This mod doesn't allow you to terraform things that you can't already colonize or inhabit, it just boosts planets you're already on. If you're looking terraform new things, try these instead:

Been a few years but is there a up to date version of the mod?

Do you think you'll have to spin this off into a completly new thing?

I'm not sure how it'll end up happening. It's definitely new projects all around though. There seems to be a lot of grumbling on reddit about the new update, so if nothing else having a 2.1 version left up indefinitely is the way to go.

I'm assuming it will take time to get this mod to work with the new building system.

Hrm. Did the vanilla game do away with it?

In 2.0-2.1, I seem to have lost any kind of penalty for terraforming occupied worlds regardless of these techs/buildings. This and other SE mods are all I have related to terraforming.

(Note that this may be listed compatible somewhere, but I'm asking this question on every mod I have because screw 2.0)
Is this mod compatible with V1.9? Or is there a seperate version, possibly?

Despite researching xenobiology which claims to give access to the phytogenic infusion reactor I am still unable to build it.

I'm using 2.0.1. I did have 2.0.2 for a while, but then I downgraded back to the released version.

Did they just update to 2.0.2 or something, because the "this" block was specifically added to fix an error, which it did.
