Mauser Gewehr M1898

The main service rifle of the German Empire from it's introduction in 1898 to it's replacement by it's successor, the Karabiner 98k in 1935. It featured many innovations in both rifle and cartridge that influenced rifle design throughout the world. It was succeeded by the Karabiner 98k, which became famous during World War 2.
This version is equipped with the MG08-type bipod.

Luger Selbstlader M1906

A rifle designed by incorporating the Toggle-Lock of the Luger pistol into a rifle, built in the frame of a G98. It featured a stronger spring pressure compared to the Luger pistol, which fixed the jamming problems the pistol would suffer from when catching dirt. Only a few prototypes were built, and were auctioned off some time after their creation.

Mauser Selbstlader M1916

A self-loading rifle made by Mauser, developed over 20 years. The M1916 was the last as most common version of the weapon. It was proposed to the German army, who rejected it in favor of the cheaper and more common Mondragon rifle. The German air force adopted it as an aircraft weapon, but the development of aircraft machineguns made it irrelevant for aircraft, while it's delicate internal workings and lack of tolerance for mud and dirt kept it out of Trench usage. This was compounded by the fact that reloading required the entire trigger guard to be moved in order to release the magazine.
In the end, despite being a solid, well built weapon, there was no one who wanted it, and only 1000 ended up being made, with a large number of them not even being assembled.

Class: semi-automatic rifle
Caliber: 7.92x57mm Mauser

Mauser TankGewehr M1918

The first true anti-tank rifle, created to counter the British Mark IV tanks, whose thick armor made them inpregnable to the previously created K bullets.
Essentially an oversized Mauser rifle capable of single-shots only and chambered for the 13mm TuF cartridge developed for the MG18, the TankGewehr possessed enough penetrating power to challenge the armor of the heaviest allied tanks. It was fitted with a bipod for deployment and a pistol grip for controlled shooting.
In the end, only 15800 rifles were produced during the war, making it quite rare. However, due to small numbers of the tanks used in the war itself the TankGewehr proved a capable oponent for the armored vehicles of the time, and inspired the creation of every other anti-tank rifle.

Name: Mauser TankGewehr M1918

Manufacturer: Mauser
Class: bolt-action rifle
Caliber: 13.2x92mm SR
Action: bolt-action
Ammunition type: single-shot
Ammunition capacity: single-shot
weight: ~18.5 Kg

I watched that video on using the Gmad extractor but it just seems to be too much complicated work which is scary since I'm working through my files. I'll just wait till someone can transfer these to gmod or someone else makes an sfm addon including ww1 weapons.

Download this addon, run the gma file through gmad to extract it, then put the extracted folder in your sfm addons directory.

Thanks! do you know which particular file name I go to to drop it off?

Yes, just extract the gma file and dump the contents on your sfm folders.

Well for what it's worth, I am planning on releasing the combined pack on the workshop to replace the individual packs when I finish adding more stuff to it. No ETA for now, but maybe then it will work.

that won't be necessary, thanks for the offer though.

@NCR Trooper

I can give you the mediafire link for the combined pack, maybe that will work.
