features handmade realistic textures and normal maps for mountains, water, fertile soil, ruined and gravel.

- Hi-res textures and normal maps for a natural, realistic look.
- Water falls and wild water with spray and foam!
- Long grass/fertile soil and forests are colored to make the map more interesting
- Oil and ore are covered with snow, so no yellow snow like in the vanilla winter theme.
- Realistic sunsets based on alpine winter setting.

Hi vampo, there is no exclusive update to Väterchen Frost theme. This theme was updated once, so maybe it was this theme he meant.

Hey Hedeci, i was watching Fluxs Avalon series and he mentioned that you have an Add-on for your Väterchen Frost theme. Is it set so only friends can see it? Would be cool if I could try it out since I am looking for the Concrete Texture that is supposed to be in it. Anyways, really dig the VF Theme!

Thanks for a great map! Actually first winter map I am playing :) But I would like to point out one small issue - since some normal roads are used around the map snow plows actually spend a lot of time to reach these places which cause a need to build multiple snow dumps even for small town (for which one would be enough normally).

This is amazing and I like it. However, the roads texture seems to be changed and become very plain. does anyone have the same problem?

Issue was theme mixer 2, unsubscribed from that and got all of my snow back

Sorry about false alarm, the problem is definitely with my game / mod setup. I just tested the CO winter theme on a CO map and I get the same result sooo... guess I'll start testing mods...

Funny thing is I know this theme works, I've used it before, so I'm guessing it's some kind of mod conflict?

That is a really beautiful (and probably the best) winter theme. When I thought about making a winter map, it was clear that I will use this one :-)
