Owl's Mediterranean Alternative Theme

Beskrivelse
Mediterranean Alternative Theme was created to match with a specific biome that you can see in Greece & Turkey.

I create maps with realistic slope limits and physics as much as possible and I make my themes according to my map style. If somehow it doesnt look so good on another map, it isn't my fault but the map, my dear fella.

I changed to ruined and gravel textures and ran some tests. The goal was disabling the ruined texture on hills and making it stop flickering on road sides -Caused by the opacity on texture-

This is the closest I've seen so far, so I'm gonna put the question out there - Would this theme suit the Istrian Peninsula? Specifically the Pula region? (Mediteranean temperate/sub-tropical?)

its not about the theme mate. you gotta check your timewarping mods and your general settings about day night cycle

this is a really nice theme only one thing is that the sky turns into daytime as its still nighttime for some reason.

This theme is so beautiful but the airport taxi roads also have a gravel texture and that bothers me. :( Besides that, great work. It's one of the few mediterranean themes that really have the right feeling to it.

Not a fan of the fact that the water is a poisonous turquoise and the grass is vomit yellow. Otherwise it's nice.

This is the most beautiful theme I've seen to date. Don't be fooled by the 'mediterranean'; with Owl's merchant bay map, this looks very much look North America, and just allowing your town to blend into the natural landscape yeilds the most beutiful results on any map that I've seen.

Editing your assets (homes, buildings, etc.) so they spawn high quality trees instead of the low-mesh default crap will work wonders for the merchant bay/mediterranean combination. I'll post screenshots soon.
