ProtecTech Industries (down until we figure out what parts will be integrated in vanilla FtD)

Description
ProtecTech Industries provides the Automated Logic Block system (ALB).
It is a multi-blocks system that is between an ACB and a LUA box.
You can build your logic as you wish with infinite configuration possibilities.
It also provides a lever and two types of buttons that are fully functional.

It also includes:
- The ToolBox, which helps to build by filtering blocks and outlining them (can be opened using the 'Page up' or ',' (comma) key without placing the actual ToolBox block)
- Enhanced shield projector (with 'force' options)
- Enhanced APS (from 3mm to 4000mm)
- Enhanced helium pump (provides better buoyance than an air pump underwater and the same than an helium pump above water)
- Repairs Customizer (provides the possibility to customize the order of the repairs)
- Enhanced AimPoint AI card (provides a way to choose which types of blocks will be targetted, along with their relative position to the water)
- Enhanced LAMS (provides a way to set a minimum shell size and a maximum shell velocity or incoming munition angle)
- LCD screen (you can put an image and text on it)
- ACB enhancements
- Railgun auto-configuration

Works with FtD v2.15
Requires the 'ProtecTechTools' mod.

Here is a submarine capable of destroying any Steel Strider naval unit and which uses extensively the ALB automation:
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=746252574

Installation instructions:
- Disable Steam cloud synchronization for FtD
- Delete the "\My Documents\From The Depths\Mods\ProtecTech Industries\" directory
- Ensure that the 'ProtecTechTools' mod is properly installed
- Launch FtD
- From the main menu, click on 'Workshop / Editor / Mods' (to the right)
- Click on 'Modding Workshop'
- Click on 'Install Subscription' (to the left)
- Select the ProtecTech Industries mod (its background will become black)
- Click on 'Save mod in folder...' (to the bottom-right)
- Quit FtD and restart it

If the mod is indicated as 'obsolete' or 'too old', you may try to change the 'plugin.json' file (with any text editor) in order to update the 'FtD_version' field to the current FtD version.
Note that this mod has a lot of chances to be broken by a new FtD version, so if you force the 'FtD_version' field, it may not work.

Of course you can try to salvage as much as you want from my mods.
But you will have to re-write it to use Harmony instead of PTT, because PTT would require a lot of work to compile again.

My advice would be to look at how I modified the APS, and write a brand new mod from scrath using Harmony and applying the same trick I used.
It would probably be easier than trying to make PTI to compile again.

Having looked at the codebase and suddenly remembered that at the entirety of the GUI code was rewritten between the last update of this mod and now, this may be more complex than expected...

With your permission, I might be able to update some of the less intensive parts of the mod and upload them myself. I don't know much about the AI or ACB codebase but I could probably fix the APS functionality and maybe the LCD screen.

No.
Some parts of this mod have been included directly in FtD.

Considering the major changes in FtD, this mod would require a complete re-write to be operational again.

any update on this mod?

wish i knew enough about ftd modding to at least maintain the enhanced aps bits, since thats the part i really want. Sadly, i can't even get it to compile :/

hmm, thought it was 3mm to 5000mm for the enhanced APS
But yes we 100% need that

Yeah the larger range of calibers would be more than welcome if nothing but for the fun of it but larger APS is great for battleships for those of us who don't like the CRAM system.

Enhanced APS (from 3mm to 4000mm) needs to be in Vanilla FtD it's just too awesome and cool to stay an unstable MOD
