描述
Adds medieval shields to Rimworld. The shields will take hits based on a dice roll taking into account the users melee skill, if successful the shield will take the damage. These shields also allow you to use melee weapons, pistols, PDWs and Heavy SMGs and any weapon from mods that have a weapon tag of MedievalShields_ValidSidearm with them.

Im going to be adding more shields and extending on the "algorithm" a bit more so this is kind of a work in progress but a fully functional one.

CE compatibility when??

It might just be me, but if you use this with CE then it doesn't work and just makes them dodge every attack that's directed at them, and sometimes a bug happens where raiders spawn with ~50 shields, giving them like 20mm RHA and I had to use dev mode to kill the raider.

*For the record, I also am having the exact same issue as the poster before me. Upon equipping the shields, it makes the pawns undraftable and incapable of battle.

Is this mod going to be updated and become usable? Because I really love the idea and actually, I would love to see a few more varieties of medieval-style shields. Also, it would be really awesome if it were to work with the "Dual Wield" mod, because having the shield in the "off-hand" would be a rather interesting format when playing Medieval style.

Looking forward to a response from the Dev!

@Zebrakiller are you using Rimworld version 0.14? If not, that's your problem.

The shields don't work for me. Any time my colonists equip them I lose the ability to draft them.
