# Darkpower: An Energy Mod
Darkpower is my robust and expandable power framework for Garry's Mod DarkRP servers. It comes with 2 examples of how to use it, Darkcoin Miners and Darkpower Printers, with more on the way!

## The basics:

You have Generators, and Powered Machines. Powered Machines use up Power on the Generator to a certain amount. Each machine can have its own effects that only occur when supplied with power. For example, money printers that need power to print money, or a microwave needing power to process food. It makes players think about Resource Conservation, and building their bases around the need for power if they want the high tier machines. Bigger generators have further reach, and can power more machines. You can power machines by bringing them near a generator. Some machines use more than 1 power, so be careful!

## Expandable

Coders for your server can easily make their machines require power, or port other machines from other addons to requiring power. Simply follow the example provided by the included Powered Printers and Darkcoin Miners, and ensure your entity class name has "darkpower_powered" in it.

## Darkcoin Miners

Darkcoin Miners are a new way for your players to generate money on your server, requiring Darkpower Generators to function. Players can buy Darkcoin Miners to generate Darkcoins, which can be sold for cash depending on the parts inside the miner. You can upgrade your miners with parts from 3 different vendors, with AYYMD focusing more on speedy mining and less on value, with Intel and NaNvidia focusing on a slower but more valuable coin, allowing your players to choose their preferred mining method.
