Alps Dolomites w/ Snow EUR Theme

2018 Update - All images marked with 2018 are the new version. Significant improvements including new cliff texture, new cliff normal, new ruined texture that aims to eliminate green on sand and eliminate green on border of snow and rock.

Daylight Classic Mod no longer required but still VERY recommended! If you use DC you may find it the environment a bit dark, however the overly bright environment around the city more tolerable. It's still scorching bright without Daylight Classic in my opinion.

Cloud and Fog Toggler will really improve your visual experience. Since this is in European biome, the hazy clouds really get in the way of enjoying the visuals of the game.

Relight Mod (and its required mods) will give you much more control of the visuals and lighting, too.

Fnd an LUT that you like. The LUT you choose makes a big difference on this theme.

The lush greens of the Alps, snowcapped mountaintops and cliffsides of limestone, a cracked cliff normal that simulates the tortured uplifted limestone formations seen in the Alps. Great for Austrian Alps, the Italian Dolomites, etc

Update May 20 2017. All new textures for: Water Foam, Water Normal (wave surface), Sand, Ruined (sharper pattern with richer color), Ore (on close view it looks as fallen leaves or yellow/orange flowers in a field, you decide what to see :D),

- European biome-based theme
- Water clearer and more blue/green compared to vanilla European
- Pollution on ground reduced to 0, water pollution very tiny difference, fertile and fields are reduced in color and brightness compared to vanilla


This theme was inspired by the work of <<FSB >>Ranger's Alpine Theme. I had to create a similar theme because my laptop needs all the help it can get to run the game well - this theme uses smaller textures than Ranger's theme, and I left several of the textures here vanilla whereas Ranger works hard to make all custom ones. I made oil into snow just like Ranger's, so that you can run the new Austria:Wolfgangsee map on either of our themes. The choice is yours!

The lush greens seen in most of the images here are thanks to Daylight Classic Mod by BloodyPenguin (all images except those marked as LUT are using the mod).
