Update Carried Units

Descripción
This mod makes it so that a unit being carried by another unit moves in step with that unit. In the base game they only ever relocate when you put them down.

Why is this important?

Well for one, if you carry a downed soldier to safety and toss a grenade where they originally fell, now it won't kill them anyway!

For another, if anything happens to the original carrier then you don't have to go back to wherever you originally picked up the first unit to get them again.

This mod will work for tactical saves, but it will only apply if the body in question was picked up while the mod was active.

Compatibility:
Adds a new effect to the abilities CarryUnit and PutDownUnit

In case anyone is wondering, this mod is not necessary with War of the Chosen.

If I underestand your description correctly, the easiest way to fix this would be to COMBINE the vanilla behaviour (update position only when using Put Down) and your mod's (update position only when moving), to cover these edge cases (even without using console commands, I'm wary something similar might happen if Invert is used on a carrier).

FYI, this seems to cover most cases, except one - teleporting the carrier via console commands. If you do that and then try to drop your luggage, they'll drop it on the original pre-ttp location (even if using Controllable PutDownUnit).

did a test on wotc, doesnt seem to need this mod. threw a nade where a bleeding out soldier was at (while he is being carried), he's still bleeding out.

@Ebithril: I think you misunderstood part of the description...the "throwing nade where they were before" also applies if they were downed next to somthing explosive...which happens with dark VIPs to me pretty often...well, the enemies or my guys sometimes had blown up the car he was next to as collateral damage, and then my mission failed like that...which just sucks and shows again, that next to no testing was done for this game...at least not for many basic features...

I've never had this happen to me.
Then again, I don't think any of my carriers have ever been exposed and knocked down/killed...

Still, fucking RIDICULOUS that somethnig as silly as this, AGAIN, need to be fixed by modders... :(
