Description
Natural Beauty Map Theme V1 - Temperate Environment

One of my biggest gripe about this game is the textures. The cliffs and sand look too smooth, the water looks too brown/mucky and rail lines seem to sit on yellow rocks.

I didn't really give the theme editor much thought until I saw one of strictoaster's cities with lush grass and great looking cliffs. So for the past two days I've been messing around with the theme editor and my god is it a powerful tool or what! I quite liked how my theme looks so far so I thought I'd share it with you all.

The following changes were made from vanilla:
- Water: More dark blue for deep water and a lighter green/blue for shorewater and a normal for a more detailed look
- Cliff: Reused cliff texture made by Atys and replaced cliff normal for a more rougher look
- Sand: More realistic looking sand texture
- Grass: Darker green more textured grass
- Ruined: Reused ruined texture made by Strictoaster
- Road: More faded asphalt
- Gravel: More realistic grey gravel.

All textures/normals are available here:

The map used for preview is called Spykerbrook by Zakerias, available at:

And ofcourse, please provide suggestions on how I can improve this theme.

Thanks guys,
Turtle

Too Bright? Change your LUT, get Ultimate Eyecandy and/or Relight, which allow you to change brightness settings.
Grass appearance looks like video game? You can adjust the tiling setting use Theme Mixer 2
Dont like Roads? Use Them mixer 2 to pick the road textures from another theme.

Just noticed this theme only works with some of the maps. Others don't have this option in the drop down when starting a new game.

I also thought it too bright. But it is a beautiful map, indeed.

too bright and the grass looks like an 8 bit videogame with this

It's a beautiful adjustment, my only downside is that it appears to directly affect the Intersection Marking Tool with road markings, they just aren't really visible. Is there a fix that you can recommend?

This theme is incredible, the only downside is the roads. They all shine and look like garbage. Other than that, this is a must have theme.

really beautiful theme
really desperately needs a patch to make road markings more visible,

This really adds colour to the game, makes it all colourful. Been subscribed to this for a while, and honestly it's the best theme for maps I've ever had. Keep up the good work.

@Muchtie:
The neutral LUT of the following collection works well for me:
