Gravel Ore Separator

Beskrivning
The Gravel Ore Separator uses a combination of techniques including mass separation under artificial gravity and magnetic induction to separate a stream of pulverised mixed rock into ores that can be processed.

It processes 5 kg of gravel every second, and 1000 kg of gravel produces (after further refining):
  • 75 kg ice
  • 42 kg silicon wafer
  • 42 kg iron ingot
  • 24 kg nickel ingot
  • 6 kg cobalt ingot
  • 2 kg silver ingot
  • 420 g magnesium powder
  • 200 g gold ingot
  • 100 g platinum ingot
  • 140 g uranium ingot

The Separator requires 1.12 MW while operating, 1 kW while idle. To build one you need:
  • 100 steel plates
  • 10 construction components
  • 4 large steel tubes
  • 4 metal grids
  • 4 detector components
  • 4 superconductor conduits
  • 4 power cells
  • 1 gravity generator component
  • 8 motors
  • 20 computers

Currently using the arc furnace model, pending learning how to model.

I have a purple cube when i'm placing this object. =S Doesn't work at the moment.

You can attach it to a small grip with a small to large advanced rotor ^^ , you need to deal with the thrust vectors and the mass centers though, unless you deal with it as just a small addon on a huge ship.
I'd consider it balancing, not allowing a small version to be built. If there were a small version, transporting ores from miners would be ridiculously easy, as just installing one on it and having it run effectively quintuples your available storage (1000kg to 191.86kg) given enough time, which you have enough of when mining.
