Life is Strange Recreation: Chloe's Room

설명
As part of an ambitious project to recreate the Life is Strange environments in Garry's Mod, this map has been completed in 22 hours work!

FEATURES:

- Recreation of Chloe's Room from "Life is Strange" (Episode 1-4)
- Models / Textures ported from "Life is Strange"

Disclaimer:

- This is not a 100 0X0.000020P-1022ccurate recreation of the "Life is Strange" Environments.
This is because Source is 10 years old and cannot compete with the Unreal Engine.
Furthermore, I cannot port directly from Unreal Engine to Source Engine.

- This map uses Assets found in the "Life is Strange" Game.

Well, shit. At least you clarified everything so I guess not more people will ask if the project is dead or something. Im glad you still use your talent to make maps on CS:GO though, they are pretty great.

@PlayerAgainstTheMachine - Yea cancelled. I havent worked on it in 4 years so absolutely not going to start back up again. I'm glad you like the other parts of the map collection though!

So that means the project is cancelled? Thanks for the response though, I didn't expect that you would answer a question about a project that is almost 4 years old (time flies lol). At least we got the End of the World party which is definitely one of the best recreations of level of a game i've ever seen in Gmod and SFM.

I moved on after a computer error wiped my drives containing the thousands of assets I exported and began remaking were deleted. My current projects take much more time now as it's all made by me or a team im working with!

Damn it's been like 3 years since this got released, I remember being pretty excited for this project of porting all LiS areas. I wonder if the dev just left the project and moved on or he still secretly working on it. That is one of those questions that probably won't be answered :LIS_poker_face:

Hmm, Steam Workshop is very fickle it seems. When i first downloaded this, it wouldn't work because it said .vtx files are out of date. I deleted it and redownloaded it and now it works!

When the map loaded it was completely black for me too. Pan the camera around until you see the room, for some reason it spawns far away from the room and pointing towards nothingness

If the map's dark, try adding in some lights. It's possible it's just a dark map v'-'v
