@G A Z: Thanks for your thoughts. Chapter 2 was made back when I was still very new to modding and so it had quite a few flaws. It became evident very quickly after release that the chapter was way too long, so the future chapters were more compact, but still had a lot of content. You will find later chapters were designed differently to this one.

The gameplay design philosophy of the Iron Hearts series was a 'challenging but fair' experience. The lack of saving/loading is a limitation of CoH2's WorldBuilder but also acted as a feature where dying basically cost you the entire run and required a restart. This was the intended design.

Making such a campaign requires coding knowledge. Unfortunately I am no longer making mods for CoH2 and as such I am no longer updated on how to do it now. If there are other modders still active on CoH2 perhaps you may ask them.

Very good maps so far I've reached the third map and as I see from other comments the limit of CoH2 Tools for saving and loading maps is very difficult to do. That's why it's frustrating for me and most players because I literally play a map for 2 hours and I get almost to the end and lose it for a moment of inattention and have to play 2 hours again to complete the map.

I have nothing against the author of these maps, but I would like it to be a little easier because there are still too many enemies in the maps and therefore the maps last 2+ hours in which there is no saving and loading.
Simply reduce the concentration of enemies by 30%.

As for the rest I would like the author to contact me purely informatively to explain a little and give me some tricks on how to make a singleplayer map and whether I need to write any codes to achieve something like this.

It's cool that you're still replying to people about this mod and trying to help them with errors and what not. I think I might just watch a walkthrough of this one and try chapter 3

@New Year Poot-Poot: Hey! Yes what you have said had been mentioned a lot in the past comments. This feedback was taken into the design decisions in future chapters. Unfortunately the save/load function cannot be implemented due to WorldBuilder limitations so that will remain the same in the other chapters too.

I like the idea but one mistake and it's insta game over.. And the fact only your stormtrooper heals out of combat means everyone else in green cover waiting for him to clean everything up (They can kinda help but they don't do much against enemies in cover, it takes too long, flanking is not always possible and costs health)

And when you lose, you must start from the beginning. I appreciate the effort in the map but I don't really enjoy the difficulty and it's a bit too slow.

Got a "Fatal Scar Error - Execution Paused" after capturing one of the territories in the wrong order. The error keeps repeating when I unpause so I'm basically stuck. All this when I almost reached the end :(

Very good work, thank you! In addition, I am also learning to edit the mission map with the company of Heroes 2 tool, so I would like to ask, is there any way to modify the pop cap in the mission map? I want the AI and I in the mission map to build more than 300 pop troops, so it's better to play. Is there any way to do it?

What tool was used to edit the map of hero company 2? Why can't my company of Heroes 2 tools find any ability to edit maps at all?
