*The Update to Unity 5 affected this machine. More detail below.*

This 5 block machine can beat all 25 current zones! The first attached video shows me building the machine and playing through the first 20 zones. The next video shows me playing through zones 21-25 after they were added.

Controls:
z = flying spiral
x = grabber

Yep, only two buttons! And only one of them moves the machine. The craft spins and wobbles continuously as it flies, and the key is to use the flying spiral more when it's facing in the direction you want to go. Holding the flying spiral button tends to pull the craft horizontal and give more lateral motion, whereas feathering it tends to keep the craft more upright and give more lift. Flight is chaotic and certainly requires practice, but you might be surprised at just how much control Whirled on a String gives you.

UPDATE

Since the update to Unity 5 (Besiege v0.2), the balloon attaches to the starting block rather than the top of the flying spiral, which changes the handling. To make it handle more like it did before, you can lower the flying spiral to lower the center of mass, following the instructions in the image above. In case you're unfamiliar with the frame rate placement glitch, here's an article on it:

Tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can race around the map an throw the bomb in any direction you want.

Great build. Literally the vehicle with the least blocks that can complete all zones.

The first video shows how it beat the flock level. Also, since the last update, sheep are no longer immune to falls. So if nothing else, you can pick up each sheep with the grabber and drop it until you've killed enough. It's time-consuming, but effective.

Thanks! I also struggled at first, but with practice, I think you could get it. It's a unique flying experience that's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. :)
