If you have any particular place in mind, you can use the new feature to send it to me.
If you go to a place, and open the pause menu, you can copy the player and camera pose and send it as text in a comment here :) that way I would be able to paste that in the editor and get that exact view replicated.
No pressure to do so though. Just wanted to say it is possible.
I tried to make each area a little more distinct visually this time to make it easier to orient yourself again when getting lost, so it would not be too much of an issue. Biggest reason for why I went back and added textures and more lighting and such.
I tried it on my screen and the steam deck, and it was bright enough for me on those... But it is intended to be in shade, and to work towards the bright outside. So it is true that it could be a bit of a problem if black levels are too bad on a monitor. I tried to keep things a fair bit away from actually black, but there might be a few rooms with darker textures where some things might be hard to distinguish.
Sometimes got a bit lost of where I should go as I was building up energy, but in a good way. Also didn't get stuck this time.
Only trouble I had is sometimes areas were a bit too dark. I think it's just my screen though since I usually have to increase the gamma a bit in games.
I hope even if you played the level before, you will give it a try again
Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, I noticed that recently too. I will fix that soon :D
Also, I will probably add some demos of the new features, such as having boss enemies trigger the gates themselves, instead of having a tricky to hit generator, at least at once of the cases here.
I'll probably do a quick pass on this level to make a new version and reset the leader boards with that. Unfortunate for the ones who have run it, but if I remember correctly it was a bit hard exploited, and it has been up for a long time, so I think it will be fine.
As the balance of the level was bound to change with the wall jump rule set, I also did some other patching as well, and added a couple of new things.
Sorry to everyone that lost their leader board entry. But now it will be final, I will not change the level any further or mess around with the leader board.
