This is not a new bridge, a decoration (designer) as a bridge (park) can be placed anywhere (water, earth) After reviewing the instructions you will see that it looks like the new bridge. In the photo you can see everything.

great news guys with awesome move it mode you dont need no pillars mode. Simply move the pillars away or delete them if game creates them.

Hey, can anyone tell me how to make a bridge a 4-lane bridge without those nasty default steel arches over the road? I have the no pillars mod, so I have no pillars under the road I place, but I cant get rid of the stuff that generates on top (those arches) when I place a 4-lane road over water...

Very nice ! Could you make it wide enough to fit 2 highways lanes side by side ? Or can i do it myself, ?

sorry going to intrude also, @captncrunchberry is right, i was also able to just change Ground Placement to "on surface" with Mod Tools, and i built a bridge going from the water over into the city on ground. With underwater/underground power cables everything is lit up fine. i have no idea how to take a screenshot and post it but if i figure it out i'll post. youll have to take my word for it for now :\
