White Dwarf - Directed Energy Platform [DX11]

Opis
A laser cannon.

Production costs are 2.5 times the cost of a large ship missile launcher.
Has two firing modes (and two types of ammo):

Ammo - Rectifier Substrate Type 0: fires up to 2.2km. rounds impact and cause a very concentrated damage effect on the point of impact. Slices through light armor and small ships. Heavy armor is effective for shielding critical systems. Useful for disabling ships with exposed systems/thrusters. A useful counter measure would be to armor your ship/thrusters.

Ammo - Rectifier Substrate Type 1: Extremely close range (75m). High damage. High spread. Used for point defense. Mount it on a ship turret and use it to shoot incoming missiles out of the sky or use it at close range to breach a heavily armored hull.

Survival Ready.
Fully Recolorable.

The model, textures, sounds, everything was created by me. Enjoy!

UPDATE: 09JAN16
Updated the mod to DX11. Build Progress models are not showing textures. This is a known issue, but other than that, the mod works fine. Enjoy.

UPDATE: 28MAR15
Extended the range of the second firing mode to 150 meters as some of you requested. Enjoy!

Dear SigmaStrain,

I am contacting you in regards to commissioning a private special copy of this mod, me and my fellow ship fighters are looking for a weapon that is almost identical to your's. The only difference is power, we need something like this, but it needs to be like an UBERMAC canon, it needs to be able to compleately tear through over 30 layers of heavy armor in a shot (we need a super ship killer). We are willing to compensate you with a good sum of $15 USD for this mod. We also would like the right to post the version you give us to the workshop for new server members to download, we of course would credit you for the creation, and it would remain your's under right of arist.
