High Density Street Layout

Popis
Great design to be used within a high density area of Residential/Commercial/Office.

Uses raised pedestrian walkways to encourage your citizens to walk, allowing for less traffic on the road, meaning services have free roam through the road network.

Speeds up the building of a large city.

To create more than one section together simply demolish one line of road along the perimeter of the square. Then connect up the pedestrian paths.

Disadvantage: Lots of squares without any deviation of pattern makes for a rather boring layout.

Pedestrial paths can have objects placed in their paths which deletes them. You also cannot connect to the pedestrian paths.

Thanks for the comments Zemo, I did notice if put into a city in a certain way there will be concentrated areas of traffic. I found that using this in a big city with a very good highway system solves that issue. :D

I am sorry to say...but I have a few tweaks that you might want to consider. Ddmuncher, I enjoy the look of the walk ways floating everywhere. They were....uniuqe. And I honetly liked them. But there are too many intersections and it makes for bad traffic. SO! I changed out the two outer rows of wide roads and made them small roads. So it was like a + shape in the square. Then I made the middle intersection into a roundabout. It woulded much better. Thank you for reading this. :D
