Earlier this week Allied ASW aircraft detected a Neighboristani fast-attack nuclear submarine near one of our naval bases. The sub surfaced to transmit and then made a rapid break for open water before we could establish contact.

This represents a serious escalation — Neighboristan’s first direct naval provocation. We will not be the ones to widen the conflict, so we will deal with this covertly.

Reliable HUMINT indicates the submarine is now at [REDACTED], surfaced and conducting routine radio traffic, reinforced by deliberate transponder traffic from neutral merchant and naval signals, a deliberate mask that will make our signals appear benign. The crew believes they are secure and are operating under standard, non-threatened watch routines.

Your team will infiltrate the vessel and ensure it never threatens the fleet again. Make the operation appear accidental and nothing to do with us. Get to it.
