Stork No.1

While the war was over, the people of the newly liberated Kuypistan found little to celebrate. They were without proper supply chains of food, water, and power. No region had felt the impacts of this more than the communities of the desert. In order to aid in this, the victors of this war helped rebuild the nation and provide public works programs to supply aid and bolster a strong economy. One of these projects was the construction of a massive hydroelectric powerplant outside of the town of Argo. In order to transport materials, a temporary railway was constructed up the steep mountains utilizing a fleet of "Stork" type geared steam locomotives. These engines worked hard for 5 years until the dams completion. Afterward they were either sold off or scrapped. This particular one, Stork 1, found itself at the foot of the dam in the town of Argo, which had acted as a basecamp for many of the workers. For many years it served as a switcher and station pilot. This skin shows how it appeared, painted in the same turqoise color as the town, and with a waved pattern to symbolize the river and dam it helped construct.
