Description
THE IRON HANDS

The Iron Hands is renowned for its unwavering belief in the superiority of machines over flesh, often replacing their own bodies with cybernetic augmentations to achieve perfection and resilience. They are stoic, disciplined, and ruthlessly pragmatic, valuing strength, endurance, and technological prowess above all else. Known for their expertise in mechanized warfare and Dreadnoughts, the Iron Hands favor heavily armored vehicles and relentless assaults, reflecting their chapter motto, “The flesh is weak,” and their relentless pursuit of augmenting their warriors to transcend human limitations.

New and Improvements

Iron Hands Rework bring many unit from HEROES OF LEGEND by Devian adapted to the Iron Hands chapter that focuses primarily on heavily armored vehicles and Dreadnoughts.

In addition to the Predator main battle tank being the backbone of the chapter, it also received Sicaran Battle Tank, Mastodon, Stormblade and Falchion.

Air support by Stormhawk Interceptor and Xiphon Interceptor Squadron. It also received Thunderhawk Gunship for attack support and transporting heavily armored vehicles.

Armory upgrades: In addition to new units, existing units like the Razorbacks are getting new weapon upgrades, and Dreadnoughts can now be equipped with a variety of weapons, enhanced with the special skill Ancient Fury, which increases attack, movement, and defense effectiveness. Other armored vehicles can be enhanced by upgrading to include a roof-mounted gunner.

Improve some heroes, Iron Father got new passive skill. Chief Apothecary got new skill marks an infantry target, if the latter dies it will become a Dreadnought.

Improve some Chapter tactics and new research.

In terms of logistics, it also receives orbital support, receiving The Chapel-Barracks, Plasma Generator and Machine Cult be spawned/created like the fortress of redemption.

The Thermo Plasma Generator can only be placed on Prometheum Pipes, and will generates more energy than before.

The Sacred Artifact can only be placed on Shard or Ruins of Vaul.

The Armoury can only be placed on Grox Pasture, Jokaero or Ore deposit.

Since they don't focus on defense, but attack is the best defense, they don't build any turrets except Fortress of redemption.

Bug fix

- Fixed knowing bugs and missinng contents from the original mod.
- Ultima Founding DLC Patch is Included so you don't need any other patches.

- Full Citadel Color Set choose a color Abaddon black to make the new parts have the same color.

Update :

- Add new hero. Iron Hands Command Tank, A tank hero unit with Servo-skull Hub that will boosts nearby allies.
- Add many traits from Iron Hands unit to HOL unit.
- New skill for Damocles Command Rhino that can repair damaged vehicles if there are Techmarine, Iron Father or Iron Father Sabik Wayland in the cargo.

@Paul59 : Try unsubscribe and resubscribe. I remove everything about the new unit. I tried it before uploading mod in workshop and didn't encounter any issues.

Hi KKaikorea, I have now deactivated Devians Adeptas Mechanicus unit mod, but the game is crashing on start up again. Several features (ie: IronHandsCrate+ etc) are still looking for AdeptusMechanicus/SkorpiusRetriever+, but it is not available unless Devians mod is activated.

Yeah this mod is great it makes the iron hands faction able to stand up against modded heroes of legend factions this will definitely have a permanent spot in my load order

Update :

- Add new traits Armor Of Contempt (T8) for vehicles and Dreadnought, Increases ranged damage reduction. Goes on cooldown at the start of the next turn if damage is taken.
- Rework Dozer Blade and Siege Shield. Now they are combined into one research to make it more effective.
- Add Land Raider to The Gorgon's Forge.
- Change repair ability for Fortress Of Redemption need City tier 2.
- Fix bonus near Fortress Of Redemption for Generators, Armory and Sacred Artifact.
