DAF XF/XG "Electric"

Adding an electric drive train to the DAF XF/XG New Generation (NGD) to get literally the DAF XF/XG Electric with realistic range. The Truck can filled up at the gas station. There are no changes in the model.

This mod doesn't use the SCS Electric Battery from the Renault E-Tech or Scania E. So the truck itself is always a diesel truck. I only configured the engine, transmission, sounds and the fuel to get a feeling driving an electric truck without the missing charge stations.

Drive to the next gas station and refill. Just note the range of the truck is like an E-Truck. So the challenge here is to plan your stops clever to not get out of juice.

This mod includes
- 2x Electric Motors "EX-D2" 270kW, 350kW
- Battery "4x LFP 420kWh" (205l fuel) up to 500km +/-
- Battery "5x LFP 525kWh" (240l fuel) up to 600km +/-
- 3-Speed Transaxle Transmission with 3-Step Retarder (Sound removed)
- suiteable for the Default 4x2 Chassis
- Motorsounds from DAF XF Electric

To configure the DAF as an Electric truck correctly, you Need to set
- "EX-D2" Engine (Electric) at Engine
- "EV 3-Speed Transaxle (Electric)" at Transmission
- "Battery x LFP xxx kWh" at the Chassis 4x2 as tank at Accessories

Note: to get the silent E-experience i moved the volume of truck exhaust and turbo to 0%, truck engine to few percent

Please be patient, thats my first mod ever in the game. I got some input from researching existing mods how to build and work in the game. The files are from the original game files. So with this knowlegde i build this mod and its relatively easy to add the e drive train to other trucks in the future... till the real E-Trucks arrives in the future.

Created and tested on Version 1.55.x, if no breaking updates in the future, this mod works on newer versions, too.

Sorry for the amount of updates... hope thats it... recalculated the consumption @39l avg, adjusted both batteries now to 205l and 240l... that should work now with heavier trailer

New Parts! You should visit the Workshop and replace the current parts with the new ones.
