Description
Everything is better with butter!

Well, maybe not everything, but more than a few things most certainly are (specifically of the edible variety).

This simple mod adds butter as a foodstuff resource which can be used in various recipes. The goal is to diversify vanilla and modded meal recipes while also providing extra utility to Lukeh_ro's Milking mod, which is required.

Butter is made at the oil press and can be used with any existing food recipe that calls for any fat resource. It must be stored under a roof (ideally refrigerated) or else it will decay rapidly.

I highly recommend getting the Updated Food Recipes mod which will incorporate butter into existing vanilla and modded food recipes, amongst other fundamental ingredients introduced in other mods.

Not in vanilla, but there is a mod that lets you make jam and jelly, which you can then use in higher tier recipes.

im still new to the game, but maybe there is a way to also turn those blue Berries into Jam, (which preserves them i guess into a 'preserve', using some of the sweet syrup items), and then also a way to add the Jam onto a toast, and/or onto a buttered toast? :lunar2019grinningpig:
