UnderDoug's Modding Toolbox

Description
Current Version is v0.0.2.

This is a mod library. It contains tools common to several of my projects that I was sick of copying around (and which I shouldn't have been copying around to begin with).

It doesn't do anything on its own, but some mods depend on it. If you find something handy in there, feel free to depend on it too.

Want to see how it's made? There's a git repository[github.com]!

Licence is the "Unlicence". I don't know what that means, but I also don't care what you do with it. Easy.

That's so reassuring to hear, thank you for looking into it! That makes a lot of sense. Also something to look out for when I start trying to mod things myself so, if it helps the embarrassment any, I'm learning, not judging.

Looking through the Github also reminded me that the Unlicense is an established idea; I thought it was your own "Unlicense", so to speak, though in either case the intent is pretty clear.

I'm excited to use your mods now! Argyve would be such a nightmare to work and with I can't wait to take up valuable space in his extremely important routine (speaking of, did you ever notice that Argyve fixes the millstone if you break it? pretty cool).

@Obsidious I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you having a gander through the github for it. I had a bit of a debacle where I was trying to build the .dll for the mod via VS so that the mods I have depending on it didn't require me to launch the game every time I made an adjustment to the toolbox (especially with using the IDE, I'm an amateur/novice, so I almost certainly don't have the project configured correctly, even if it runs).

I had a look into it. The 63 odd MB of mystery files is functionally a copy of Qud's entire "\CoQ_Data\Managed" folder, which is embarrassing, but ultimately benign.

Fortunately, I was at most an hour or two away from uploading an update, so I can include removing that folder entirely.

Thank you for your curiosity :D it's really helped me out.

Thanks for posting a git repository! I noticed the file size (which dwarfs even quest+location mods like Mechanimist Genotypes and game-changers like Hearthpyre) and figured I should do a wee bit of snooping before letting it run, just for due diligence. So the link came in handy!

At this point I realised that I don't really know how to use Github, but then I decided that that's no reason not to try to work it out so I looked and... there's no file in there that explains the 60.45 Megabyte (or 63.391 MB here) file size. There's no file in there above 8.09 Kilobytes . I figure either I really don't know what I'm doing or something must be different in the files themselves? I know that a modder had a copy-paste incident a while ago, but I also know that tricksy malwareses can sneak into uploads so I figure I should exercise caution and let you know.

Idk anything about malware so I have no idea if I am being silly. I might be being silly. Isn't the internet an adventure?
