Description

A much requested item on the workshop and something I've wanted for ages - a single, wall mounted button for large ships.

Rev 2 Now includes a double button as well in three different formats. The On/Off button uses different colours for the 'ready to press' state instead of the default yellow.

Rev 3 includes an arrow button for small ships and a 4 way directional button for large ships.

Rev 4 converts all buttons to be DX11 compatible.

Rev 5 adds a button and a control panel pedestal, similar to https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=308736941 As this mod has now been officially discontinued I have decided to add my own, near identical version for people to use. All credit to the original author for the idea.

Rev 6 adds a request by =NeO= for Small Ship pedestals.

All models use a stock or stock-alike feel and currently the mod is extremely small.

All models are fully re-colourable - in the images I represent colourable areas with my own corporate purple.


Notes

Due to a known bug with modded button panels, it may be necessary to save/reload multiplayer and dedicated server worlds after assigning a button to an action in order for it to function. This appears to be a fundamental mechanic of the button modding system (which we only have quite limited access to currently). I will be monitoring the situation and will fix it as soon as that becomes possible.

Update: I've had no reports in about 10+ weeks; it's possible this issue is resolved. Further feedback needed. Either way, it is game engine related not the mod.

As basically zero of this work is mine other than a couple of lines of code being changed I provide this with no stipulations. A mod-list is polite but not required for uploaded workshop items.

This mod splits the console and single button and allows both to be added to large and small ships.
