Everyone needs a good start to a new exploration. Sometimes, if not often, the problem is finding the right ship for the job.

Hello again, from V-Industries. Today, it is not our usual spokesman speaking but V herself, founder of V-Industries and head engineer of... well.. my own company!

Today, I am releasing a little beauty of a ship that recently helped me on a new trek around the galaxy. What can I say, I needed a vacation from the limelight that I often get for being this company's founder, so, I needed a small inconspicuous ship to galivant around in. Obviously, it couldn't be any old rust bucket I found in the local Free Colonists Junkyard, so I.. had to design it myself, and boy did I design it.

This here is what I originally named the 'Ad Astra' now renamed, due to trade mark, the EC (or Explorer Class) Ventara, a cute little starter CV that has just about everything you need.

She has a spacious hanger and back landing pad for your SV and HV of choice, 2 full Controller boxes of storage, fill medical, a few rooms for crews, and.. Hydroponix bay all packed into a neat looking CV. The draft wing on the back is standard edition, no need for additional purchases, AND can double as a bit of extra parking space, or spots for more guns!

She is not too heavily armored but can be upgraded to do so, including to have Laser drills mounted to the front for space mining. As well, she comes standard with a shield generator and warp drive. She is roomy, she is a beauty, and she is a cheap but effective little starter to get you going where you need!

- Standard Warpdrive
- x4 Medical Bays (full medical)

- x1 Food Proscessor
- Hydroponic area (enough for 18 Grow plots)

Upgrades (See screenshots):

- All thrusters housing areas can be removed and expanded to house Advanced Ion Thrusters (striped yellow and black painted areas indicate removable thrusters for larger more powerful thruster replacements)
- A large Ion Drive Thrusters fits snuggling in the deflector area of the front hull by removing the xeno blocks
- A larger shield can be placed in the area where the mobile emitter is (comfortably with an Ion Drive Thruster
- Shield Boosters can be placed in the hanger bay
- Additional CPU can be placed up at the bridge and in the hanger bay
- places for Plasma turbines included in the hanger, behind shutter doors
- Drill placements at the front of the ship (remove the antennae)
- Additional Turret placements all around the outer ship (look for the hexigon markers)
- Housing for Large Advanced Generators in side nascel structures
