Description
Roguelike gameplay style, the best way to enjoy DOS2 combat system or test things out, fight will be tough but satisfied, hope you will enjoy it as I do. Support current main story saves to play Roguelike Arena without starting a new game. (If you are playing Roguelike Arena already, new game required still to apply these added maps and bosses since can't update database)


This is an addon I made for Roguelike Arena, add maps and bosses, adjust some settings, turn off some map elements, level cap 20 as personal favor etc. I am not Roguelike Arena author but like the mod a lot, have a great time modding and playing it, steam page link below as a requirement for my addon, it's a really really good mod

Console command to teleport your party to Roguelike Arena lobby (for main story save)

To get back to original game, you can use the mod Debug Tools to unlock all waypoints to teleport back, then save and reload, link below

If you like the mod True Companions (I can't play without it), you can find the skill book on the table of rest section now, if there is not, here is the console command to learn the skill

Main companions will be in the Roguelike Arena Lobby now, they will stay and wait for recruit at the bar section if you dismiss them (new game only), if they are not, here is the console command to teleport them to your position

Well, yes I am a native Chinese speaker, but to answer the level cap thing to everyone, I will still try to explain it in English. Just my opinion, level 1-20 is fun, but level 21-35 or even further is time killing. The feeling of progression should be based on elements adding, not just number increasing. If you take a look at the design of Roguelike Arena, you will see how deep the author think, enemies will learn new skill randomly while leveling up, new type of enemies will come out, elements add in the entire 1-20 progression, not just refresh the game experience, but also well balanced. After level 20, nothing changed or added, as same as original game, no more new elements, the author even gives you an option to force end the game by clicking the level 21 door. Well, for short, I might not change level cap myself since it does nothing good to the game, you can disable this addon while continue your main story, the level will went back, it's based on your experience.

另外最重要的一点,由于冒险剧本总是最后加载(且必定启用),这意味着包括主线在内的所有冒险剧本等级都将被限制为20级

看了下图片,老哥好像是中文区的?,新出了个UniqueLoot Drops Rogue-Like的mod似乎也是肉鸽竞技场的附加模组。而使用这个模组还需搭配独特战利品掉落,而独特战利品掉落率比较低 我在此前游玩直到28级才凑齐完美的构筑,所以我才建议回调为默认35级。同时我也理解您的做法,原版毕竟到16级后就不再获得新技能,原版化身成神近乎无敌(我使用了源力汇流大修,所以没有这个情况),且20级后数据膨胀过快确实令人诟病,但数值膨胀和敌人难度是是可以通过动态调整来平衡的,从刚开始不给予敌人任何buff,到后期使用EUO 把冠军敌人难度逐步打开是能够获得平衡的游戏体验的。

Hi, it's totally fine, I like your works, too.

The level cap 20 is to fine tune the party instead of number chasing, there are mods to increase difficulties, works very well with Roguelike Arena. Number increasing is never the best way but a cheap way to expand the life of this game I think.

Anyway, you can recover the RoguelikeArena_Singletons, RoguelikeArena_Progression, RoguelikeArena_LevelUpHandler in Story Editor of Divinity Engine for Arena level cap and edit the text file in Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data\Public\RoguelikeArenaSettingBySmallway_53374274-2ab2-4068-be4a-fc9ed0943af6\Stats\Generated\Data\Data.txt for game level cap, these are the changes I edited.

The official mod ArmorSets as a dependency causes errors of Story Editor Building, I always build the story first, add ArmorSets as a dependency after, FYR.

Thank you so much for creating this mod.

I really hope to make it accessible to more players. Currently, I have completed the localization of this mod. However, configuring language files for Divinity: Original Sin 2 seems quite complicated. Most mods I'm aware of do not include dedicated language-specific files or release separate versions for different languages.

I fully understand that mod development is challenging, and this may not be an ideal approach. If you have any concerns or objections, I will remove the localized version without any hesitation.

Hello, thank you so much for creating this addon. It greatly improves upon some of the shortcomings of the original mod. However, would it be possible to remove the level cap of 20? I plan to use it as a mode to continue playing after completing the main story (by teleporting my characters using your method), but my party is already at level 20 by that point. Continuing to play this mode without the ability to gain further levels removes the sense of progression.
