i am interested to see your future work
i think one way of helping with this issue is by introducing more varied rooms inbetween, or providing alternative but not given methods of crossing the acid geysers out of volition, such as squidcada or mushrooms hidden off the beaten path of the region.
the upper half is solid but could use more predatory creatures to experiment with the steam mechanic more. overall though i enjoyed it alot and found its platforming and exploration more fun, with some neat vista points.
