Description
Amphiuma tridactylum, also known as the three-toed amphiuma, is an aquatic salamander in the family Amphiumidae. It can reach over a meter in length, and has the largest red blood cells of any recorded animal. It holds no meaningful relation to this map.



This test was- Well still is, being re-assembled with factory-fresh pieces. I thought you might appreciate how good this place can look, when you're not tearing it apart.

In case you are wondering about the holes in the walls: I left them in. I figured you would enjoy at least a peek into the backstage, since you won't be going back there ever again.

Quick project I started as a style test, three base-game puzzles rebuilt around Schrödinger's cubes. They are one of my favorite testing elements- Even if challenging to make good use of, and I wanted to make more maps with them. Ever since the release of Nihilus however I've been almost entirely out of ideas, and also ended up getting sidetracked by other projects. So while I'm satisfied with how this turned out, it's completely not what I had in mind.

Shortly before the map's release, I recalled an idea I had at 1am on how to make Schrödinger's cubes always rotate when held (as opposed to only when emitting a laser). I decided to test it out, and surprisingly, it worked without any drawbacks. This was probably the most annoying issue with my implementation, so figuring out a fix for it was very nice. I'll hopefully push the patch to the cubes' github repo sometime soon.

I really enjoyed these unique ways of solving campaign levels, and absolutely loved the animated panels and style! Keep up the great mapping!
