Popis
Adjusts ammo and damage values for most infantry weapons in the Halo Reach Campaign.
Also adding a few new weapons

Assault Rifle: now holds 45 rounds per magazine. increased damage.
Magnum: now holds 12 rounds per magazine. increased damage..
Shotgun: 9x range, vastly increased velocity, decreased spread, increased damage.
Sniper: now holds 6 rounds. 2x damage.
DMR: adjusted damage to be more varied.
Frag Grenade: 2x damage, increased blast radius.
Missile Warthog Grenades: increased explosion damage.
Missile Launcher: increased explosion damage.
Plasma Pistol: decreased minimum and increased maximum damage values.
Plasma Rifle: heavily increased damage.
Plasma Repeater: increased damage.
Needler Rifle: vastly increased damage.
Needle Rifle: vastly increased damage.
Concussion Rifle: increased damage.
Plasma Grenade: increased blast radius.

NEW WEAPONS: Only on Winter Contingency mission.
MA37 Assault Rifle 5.56: slight rate of fire increase, increased velocity, decreased damage.
M6G Magnum .45 ACP: holds 15 rounds, decreased damage.

Can you please remove entrance door from New Alexandria's hospital? It is buggy as hell and sometimes refuses to open after destroying jammer. Having to play same mission all over again is not very fun

Army Troopers need to be better. Make them better shots, make them shoot from much further away, make them able to spot enemies farther away and easier, make them stick in squads better, make them use more cover, make them keep a distance more often, ect. They shouldn't stop Covenant in every encounter, but I like it when humans can hold their own at least in a fight and get a fair amount of kills. Pretty lore accurate to me when they do so. The UNSC infantry should be outnumbered and die fairly easily, but they should still be able to get plenty of kills in return.

But yeah, I thought the mod was cool otherwise. I'd kill for a GPMG or SAW and UBGL for the AR in this mod, if you ever wanted to go more milsim route for stuff and add a few more weapons like you already have.

Human weapons need to do more to base Covenant enemies (and stuff like the AR should be a bit more accurate for longer ranges). Yeah, human weapons are inferior technologically speaking, but like 2 or 3 shots from an AR should kill Grunts and Jackals, let alone a Warthog's .50 cal should one tap them. Seeing them soak up like 7 to 10 hits of a Warthogs chaingun is insane. Elites and Brutes should be more tanky, but fodder enemies are supposed to be fodder, they should have greater numbers but be physically weaker than they are currently. Their armor is basically worthless, and their hides ain't gonna stop a .308 round.

I'm planning on remaking this mod using some more information I have picked up on recently. This mod will remain as-is for now.

I plan on V2 being a bit more of a vanilla plus sort of mod, but with care taken so that it doesn't feel unrealistic in any way.

What's funny is I took a look through the workshop a week ago to see if any had made a lore accurate damage mod and I didn't see one. So I ended up creating my own for Halo CE, and lo and behold, as I was uploading it I saw your mod. What are the chances lol.

I'll give this a try to see your take on lore accurate damage and see if it matches all the research I found online.

@Lisa Martinez I would but I ran into an issue with the mod where equipping the .45 magnum crashes the game... I can't seem to figure out what went wrong lol.

Will there be an update to make the vehicle damage and hunter damage lore accurate? As well as more weapons being added to the lore accurate damage (such as the SPNKr/Fuel Rod)? Love the mod so far.

I would kill a man to be able to stack this with the Mythic and "MK V" campaign mod and be able to manually adjust damage and health values. Feels like a more "genuine to lore" mod. wouldn't mind the human ARs and DMR being slightly more powerful. Very fun:steamthumbsup:
