I dont think it matters, just manually download from Trucky, sometimes Trucky cant handle the big files for updates.

Ok. Maybe I'll try the beta with a lite mod setup. If not I'm still looking forward to this mod.
Question. Would it be better to run Trucky and ATS Expansion in a dedicated ATS install. Not the one i'm running now?

GT182, I am using ATS Expansion in the 1.56 beta now, as of now no known issues. As far as mods go, I am not sure, I dont use real companies mod as I dont thinks its compatible anymore, and I only use ATS Expanison and sometimes Promods Canada , other than that Ruda's mods and 1 engine mod. I keep my mod folder pretty lite. GMC Community has a map combo on there Youtube for North America combos.

Wii the ATS Expansions that goes with the COLDMAN mod work with 1.56 when it's released. I love what I see, it's awesome. If I add it to ATS I might not play ATS any other way. This is something SCS should have done with their sad updates a long time ago, My congratulations you guys thought of it and did it.
Or would the start of a new Profile work better for it with 1.55 and go from there, or better yet wait until 1.56 is released? I hate to install it now and have to play with mods to get it working again.

BTW. is there and recommended load order for the ATS Expansion parts with some regular mods we'd use with them
I don't want VR. I'm using a Tracer IR5. And if it can be used without VR, where can we download all of it? This is a must have. I'd even pay for it with out having to use VR.
