Interplanetary is a survival map, and features a fresh progression system, with some areas only reachable by spacecraft. This map is intended to be a challenge, and you will quickly notice there is much less gravity. If you are careless and jump into space, the void will consume you.

Explore the remnants of a once thriving resource extraction empire, now reduced to only ruins and hostile extraterrestrial denizens. On your journey through this abyssal wasteland, you can find and create a large assortment of (190+) unique items to help assist your survival. Build a quaint fishing shack and and live off berries and breadfruit, or choose to harness the power of fission technology and dominate the system. Land vehicles and spacecraft can be found scattered across the system's planets, or crafted if you are lucky enough to find the necessary schematics. Additionally, most items are part of a crafting tree, and can be upgraded to better variants with high tier materials.

Hovering remotely in a debris field lies the Station, a floating refuge home to several helpful NPC shops. This area has a reliable transportation system to help you travel between several locations, courtesy of the Lunar Taxi Company.

Two small deadzones are accessible, containing some of the highest tier items, weapons, and spacecraft you can obtain on the map. It won't be easy, so bring plenty of ammunition and some filters. Additionally, you can undertake the challenge of crafting and clearing Synthwave Beacons to obtain high tier loot without having to craft filters.
