Beskrivelse
Sunstorm, When we Took to the Stars

This system is somewhat simpler than the last submission. I’ve based it on nearly decade old ideas I had and recent worldbuilding tomfoolery.

The main description here is an introduction, instructions manual, and guide to which objects have information in them and the order to travel to them in, so keep it open. It’ll move out of the way of the properties menu by itself by the next page.
---
Instructions
  • Do Not Unpause until everything is explored. Unpausing may break a specific object, but the system does run.

  • Do Not Toggle Space Goggles. Lighting should be configured with exposure offset of 3 EV but the game seems buggy with it so if it resets on (re)load please set it to 3 EV for the correct viewing experience. It is in Lens and Sensor in the view menu (hence why it is open on system load) and PLEASE DO THIS.

  • Messing with FOV settings can be beneficial if you have orbit lines turned off. A specific tiny object looks much better with it dramatically reduced.

  • Perhaps check out all objects even if they have no description, they’re all edited, though some are more boring because moons be moons.
---
Background

The solar system was taken over by a recently arrived Von Neumann swarm, accidentally, after it went berserk due to a misguided attempt to knock the swarm out by destroying its main control node. The only route out was Project Sunstorm, a giant nuclear bomb rigged up to the substance the swarm used to jump across interstellar space to Sol. Sunstorm fired and a fleet of evacuation ships were catapulted at the speed of light thousands of light years away to a system of 3 stars in a nebula for a new start. To those onboard the journey was instantaneous, and were met by quite the surprise at the other end, having only expected a couple habitable worlds, but instead got far more than they bargained for.

A number of the names of system objects are Latin attacked by a machete because young me thought sticking Latin names on stuff was the best option or something. Others are regular gibberish.

The funny lighting due to the multiple stars with the exposure offset is kinda to be put up with but would be interesting for the inhabitants of the planets.

The Defect Subsystem
  1. The Defect
Zoom right in, you’ll be surprised, and please have the exposure offset up as instructed, it looks better for it and reducing FOV here accentuates the effect.

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little boy called Joey, he was ten-years-old and he lived in a mental hospital because he posted a shitty copypasta onto a People Playground mod's comment section . He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen
