Units of the Imperial Provinces VI: Ostland

Descripción
Hi everyone, sorry for the long absence. I've been very busy these past few months, so I haven't been able to devote time to the mods, and I've barely been able to read you. Here's the latest installment of the Imperial Provinces series: Ostland.
I hope you like the MOD, and I apologize if I haven't been able to respond to your comments. I haven't been able to get around to it, but I'll get to it soon. Best regards, and see you on the battlefields. For the EMPEROR!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What's New:

1. Re-skin and stat modifications (according to the lore) for Ostland units. Including a reskin for ``The Stubborn Bulls ´´.

2. X new units for Ostland.

3. A BUILDING CHAIN to recruit new units (only accessible to OSTLAND and the MAIN Empire faction).

4. New generals (models) for Ostland-

*********NEW UNITS*******^^:

1. Blackguard (Greatswords):The Ostland Black Guard are an elite unit of Greatswords from the province of Ostland. The Ostland Black Guard are a very well-known regiment. They have campaigned for many different electors, and their reputation has spread beyond their native state.

2. Fireloques of Ferlangen (handgunners): The Fireloques of Ferlagen are a troop of deadly accurate handgunners that have fought throughout the Province of Ostland, often under the army banner of Elector Count von Raukov himself. Wearing the black and white of their home province, the Fireloques of Ferlagen bear no formal insignia, but superstitiously decorate their hats and uniforms with the bones of fallen comrades and other good luck charms

3. Ogre Regiment (Maneaters): More than anywhere in the Empire, Ogres are most commonplace within the hilly, pine forested landscape of Ostland. These brutish creatures are very much sought after by the rough mountain men of Ostland as muscle in the warband

4. Wandering Prophets: A ragged figure wreathed in smoke and self-inflicted wounds, the Prophet of Ash and Chains leads his flock with wild eyes and bloodied hands. Preaching doom, redemption, and holy fire, he drives flagellants to ever greater acts of fanaticism.

5. Northern Border Reavers: Hardened by the cold and the constant threat of Chaos, the Northern Border Reavers are expert scouts and ruthless raiders. Masters of ambush and survival, they strike deep into enemy lands, burning camps and vanishing into the trees. Grim, silent, and loyal to Ostland, they are the eyes in the dark and the knives in the night.

6. Wailing Chariot: Surrounded by fire, blood, and unshakable zeal, this grotesque chariot is both altar and weapon — a rolling sermon of death in the name of Sigmar.

7. Scarlet Curs (swordmen): Brutal, bloodthirsty, and unflinchingly loyal, the Scarlt Curs are feared shock troops known for flaying their enemies and decorating their shields with gruesome trophies. Born of dungeons and death pits, they fight with savage zeal and iron resolve

8. Sons of the Comet (berseker flagellants): Driven by holy madness and pain-born ecstasy, these deranged flagellants charge into battle screaming litanies and spinning heavy, chained maces fused to their scarred limbs. Their bodies broken but spirits aflame, they fight like berserkers—unpredictable, unstoppable, and heedless of wounds

9. Wolfenburg Twice-Bolds (greatswords): Greatswords renowned for their unshakable discipline and unmatched courage. Veterans of countless battles against beastmen and worse in the shadowy forests of Ostland

10. Wolfenburg Skullbreaker (hammer infantry): Raised from the rugged frontier town of Wonfenburg, the Skullbreakers are brutal shock troops who wield heavy warhammers with terrifying force.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Upcoming updates:

- New units to be added.

- Banners and office supplies for troops

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. What's next?

- Since I'm very short on time right now, I'll be taking a short break to add SMALL additions, improvements, and fixes.

- Once my exam period is over and I'm more relaxed at work, I'll start working on the new province that won the polls: MIDDENLAND.

modder come and goes. Which is fine because IRL things can get busy and modders do all of this for free but Spanish communication is not that great.

I agree with 88888888. Great design, but I think the units should be locked to their provincial faction with the addition of some unique building for recruitment. That way they can only be accessed by diplomacy or conquest and not flood karl's recruitment pool from the jump. Otherwise these are great, I love the vampire count one.

The models and the units themselves in all of these mods are excellent. But the actual implementation of them needs a lot of work. Bugged unit portraits, blank names in recruitment panels, and an extremely crowded recruitment for the Empire. Provincial factions also do not use these units, but will use the lords/heroes, though not equivalent to their faction. The implementation of Hochland's Elector as just a legendary lord for the Reikland is also very odd.

A lot of work needs to be done on how these mods actually functions in gameplay before its worth using, when ZC's reskin which accounts for provincial factions (and includes command squads and banners) combined with Mixu's Legendary Lords achieves a very similar outcome in a much more usable form.

This is excellent work! The knights are simply incredible. But the mod is sorely lacking banners and compatibility with the formation mod. I hope you have the time and inclination to make a patch. In any case, thank you so much for your work!

Indeed, relieved and glad to hear from you, Spanish Inquisition. Now that we know you're good, take your time, we're not in a hury. But, man, we love your job so far !

Hi guys, it's been a long time, sorry, due to work situations I've been away from home and I haven't been able to dedicate any time to wstom. I confirm that I'm returning to business this week.

I think the modder is gone at this point.
