Omschrijving
Faction pack for the “We Were Brothers” modpack, centered around the Yugoslav Wars

Current version: Beta 0.7

To-Do before Release 1.0:
-fix lines based on comments

FEATURES:
☆ Eleven factions:
- Slovenia
- Yugoslavia (1991)
- has voicelines from several factions
- Yugoslavia (1992) - has a different flag and anthem, as well as only Serbian voicelines
- ARBiH (Bosniak/Muslim forces)
- APZB (Zapadna Bosna/Western Bosnia)
- VRS (Republika Srpska)
- Croatia
- HOS (Croatian Defense Forces)
- will be featured individually in one mission of mine. Has a different flag, anthem, and one unique voiceline
- UNPROFOR (France)
- SVK (Army of the Krajina)
- HVO (Herzeg-Bosnia)

☆ World At War-style victory theme with typewriter sound at the beginning

What’s not included:
-Rank patches because I'm going to apply those to the uniforms directly (once they release)
-Some random lines, to make the battlefield less talkative (I’m reloading, line/column formation, etc)
-Death/screaming sounds, because they’re ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying.

If you speak Slovenian or Serbian/Croatian/similar, comment tell me if any of the lines are used incorrectly. I can easily fix or remove them (and redo them, for the ones I recorded)

Possible questions:

Q: Why can't I hear my soldiers respond to my commands?
A: When I was testing the voice lines, they got really repetitive especially in ten-man squads (because I only have one voice set for each faction). I inserted blank lines among them in order to rectify this a bit, but I only did this with the standard soldier lines.

Q: Why does the Serbian guy’s voice change when he becomes the squad leader?
A: The lines I got for the leader were too good to not use but there wasn’t enough to fill out the other lines. Plus, it varies things a bit.

Q: You didn't reuse the Serbian lines for the Croatians and Bosniaks, did you?
A: Only the tank and artillery lines. I will use lines from Battlefield Balkan + 1918 for the rest (Some of the Bosniak ones are slightly different in the former)

Q: What else is coming?
A: Some minor volunteer factions that need to be their own factions either due to having different lines or due to future plans to add them individually in a mission. Please do not request any, I already have this planned out.

Credits:
Serbian Special Units - Serbian leader voice lines

Operation Peacekeeper 2 - Serbian soldier lines

Battlefield Balkan - ARBiH, Croatia, APZB, HVO lines

War Thunder - All tank and artillery response lines (except Slovenia)

Me - Slovenian lines, Serbian artillery request + number lines (I tried).

ANNOUNCEMENT: I am going to reverse my initial stance and will try to add what I think are far less annoying death sounds to the factions. I've recorded 19 myself and they'll be tested soon.

oh alright gotcha

@scab the lad I ask because I technically have all the voice lines I need, so I'd only take extra lines if youre from one of these countries or if you can speak one of these languages fluently and sound enough like someone from this region (I am aiming for as much immersion as possible here. I already had to do the Slovenian lines myself despite not being/knowing Slovenian so I am already pushing it).

Also, at some point I'll make a shared Drive folder that contains all the voice lines and some flags in case you or someone wants to make their own version with the screaming lines

@Tommytnt No. However, I might reverse my decision and test out scream sounds from a less annoying source like an old Call of Duty game or something. If more people comment here asking for it, ill work on it sooner

will there be a version with screams? I personally think it adds to the effect.
