the one floor with the gaps is ass i don't know if i'm about to fling myself into OBLIVION or if i'm actually landing on the platform until its far too late to stop it and save myself and the upside-down room on the fucking EMPERORS THRONE the upside-down room
i, HATE, that floor with a PASSION, that stranger things abomination made me consider immediately giving a live fucking CHAINSAW oral sex it was SO BAD
the sweepers suck, the N51 mortar spam sucks, but holy FUCK the upside-down room was SO MUCH WORSE THEN EITHER OF THEM
getting through this tower of babel felt like the closest thing humanity has come to making a digital cock and ball torture marathon session for the soul please keep making mods this was so satisfying to get to the end of without blowing my own head off
Yeah, that is a very bizzare one. I know that NEM and other 3rd party mod menus like it have a tendency to break the level, but I've never used NEM or bepin so I can't 100% say for sure. I'll look into the issue and see if it is a problem on my end, but in the meantime see if validating your files does anything.
One thing that does genuinely concern me though is that your attacks to stop working after an extended period of time. That is 100% a bug that I thought had gone away overtime, but apparently still exists. It's plagued the level since the very beginning and one that is completely outside my control. Did you at any point throw melee weapons at enemies and/or execute them with broken weapons? Those two actions are known for contributing to triggering the glitch. If you could describe your experience and encounter with the glitch in the discussions, that would be very helpful to figuring out what exactly is triggering it. Regardless, I do apologize that this ended up contributing to the problems you ended up facing in the custom level.
extreme mode
took me around four hours to get to level 11, and then I just stopped because I couldn’t hit enemies with melee weapons anymore. I don’t even understand why that happens — maybe it’s a bug, or maybe it’s meant to be like that. Either way, it made everything ten times harder. I tried to keep going, but it was useless. Without being able to use melee attacks, you just get surrounded and crushed in seconds. And honestly, after all that effort, I didn’t even feel angry — just tired. Extreme Mode feels more like torture than a challenge after a while. I love difficult games, but this one crosses the line between “fun hard” and “impossible.” Still, I’ve got to admit, it was kind of satisfying getting that far.
I'll take a look and see what I can do!
