SC (07) 330 No. 12 single turnout is a type of single turnout in Chinese railways, with a maximum straight-through speed of 160kph and Switch side speed of 45kph. The turnout is an improved design based on the 92 type 60kg/m steel rail No. 12 single turnout, and its design concept has been optimized on the original basis. The main feature of the turnout is the use of Type II spring bars instead of the original Type III spring bars to improve the lateral plane alignment of the turnout. In addition, the R value of the turnout adopts a 350.7175m circular curve type, which helps to improve the operating conditions for trains entering and exiting the turnout laterally and reduce the wear of the switch rail. The turnouts of Chinese railways are divided into No.7, No.9, No.12, No.18, No.30, No.42 turnouts, etc. according to the residual tangent value of the rail center angle. The larger the number, the higher passing speed.
