Just an upload of the updated original tome.

As the original mod wasn´t updated for a very long time and didn ´t worked after the giant kings update, I decided to fix it.
However if the original creator don´t like it, I will take it down again.

Tbh, I'd love it if Root Network got removed or reworked when you get around to fixing things. Autobattle AI LOVES to use it to the point they lose/stalemate fights due to overprioritization of healing. Maybe a change to like a single-round self-stun in exchange for 10 HP + 3 Regen or something, WITH a 2-3 turn cooldown? Dunno. Point is, every time in the past I tried the root mechanic always led to making autobattle unusable bc the AI would root immediately to heal and then never unroot.

@Fuegan1431 Yeah nice, shortly before the Archon update I deep checked the whole tome and all worked fine. I had the feeling the update this time did not crash everything, but yeah here it did somehow.
After research the tome skills don´t appear in the spell book too, some links must be broken but will take a while after I figured out what exactly is broken

I keep getting a crash based around this:

Content/GeneralUnit Property Group Root Network (Unit Enchantment) - Property Group is invalid! Linked property Root - Ability is invalid.

The AI must have taken the tome and it is having a reoccuring issue with root network.

@Bast I kinda feel burned out with modding right now.
I also basically didn´t played the game since early spring and don´t feel too much like coming back to it in a strong way. Even if initially I was pretty hyped for the giant kings DLC, but didn´t had even 1 playthrough with it ._.
So no sorry, I´ll stay away from creating more for a game I barely care for anymore.
It takes a lot of energy beeing forced to fix everything again and again with every major update.
Especially when you have nothing from it, but I will always keep my stuff running because I feel responsible for it, like they are my kids xD.

Sorry to hear that, but actually I´m not able to recreate this problems.
I checked all units/Spells out in combat and it´s just running smooth and nice.
So I guess this problems are entirely based on a different mod.
Maybe you could clarify when exactly the slowdowns are happening?
Otherwise I´m not able to help I fear. For this mod there is nothing like constant checks running, only simple ones when using the spells/abilities like "is target entangled" f.e.

Thanks for picking this up! All the bits seem to work, but I get massive slowdowns/pauses in combat with this. Like it's doing complicated checks every round or something? I do have other mods, could be a conflict.
