Cinema (Sandbox Edition)

Descripción
What is it?
This is the well-known Cinema mode, but with full support for all the features of the Sandbox mode.

Why was this created?
Since the default Cinema mode was not designed to play properly with the Sandbox mode features, and the Sandbox addons I knew of did not work correctly, I decided to create a working version of this mode by combining the Cinema and Sandbox mode files.

How does it work?
Roughly speaking, when using this mode, you will load into Sandbox, and when you enter a map with Cinema support, all the features of this mode will be available with the ability to turn on video in the appropriate places on the map.

How to set up?
  • Close Garry's Mod if it is open
  • In your games library, right-click on Garry's Mod.
  • Go to "Properties".
  • In the properties, find the "Betas" section
  • Select "x86-64 - Chromium + 64-bit binaries" from the drop-down menu
  • Sometimes you may also need to install the patch "GModCEFCodecFix[github.com]", which fixes codecs needed for most sites to work correctly.

How to use?
By default, Garry's Mod opens the context menu when you press the "Q" key: on maps with Cinema mode support, the Cinema menu will open in specially designated places, and in other cases, the Sandbox menu. If you need to open the Sandbox menu in specially designated places for watching videos, simply press the "F1" key, which always opens the Sandbox context menu. If something does not work, check if the controls have been changed, and if necessary, reset the settings to default values ​​​​to use the key functions as described.

I am not the creator of the original mode, much less its fixed version. When using this mode, you take on all possible problems. I do not support the Cinema mode itself, but only integrated its features into the Sandbox mode, since I missed it. If you have questions about the Cinema mode, please contact the person who works with its support.

I've made additional fixes to this addon. I was very surprised that this mode broke again so quickly. It's hard to say what the cause is, but with these fixes, the game is currently free of errors related to this addon. Please continue to keep me updated if anything in this addon stops working again.

Videos are no longer playing.
I can now search up videos again and it can load them but it won't play the video or audio.
I think it might have something to do with the updates to cinema to get it working again.

Thank you so much for fixing this. It still shows the 404 error when the screen loads up but I can now watch videos if I look them up so problem solved for the most part. You are the best! Thank you super much! Still the best addon ever!

I've made some bug fixes to this addon, now the game doesn't complain about errors related to it. However, I'm not sure that everything works the same as before, as a lot has changed since I last played with this mode. However, the fixes should eliminate errors that were specifically in the files of this version of the addon.

I had been trying for at least 6 hours or so to get something similar to this in my own private servers. Nothing was working so I eventually gave up. Now with this addon, I can finally fulfill my dream of filling up a theater of ragdolls so I don't feel lonely while watching youtube videos. And it comes with the bonus benefit of more quality of life features and no ads! You have done marvelous work on this mod and you deserve more love and attention for doing this! THUMBS UP!!!!
