@Oorestis You should read the description: "Skirmish, and missions are currently heavily under development (WIP). We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance these features!" (Hence the Beta in the title). WIP stands for work in progress if you didn't know.

The file size comes from the amount of new content, assets, and units you can use in the editor alongside galaxy at war. No one is forcing you to download this. Keep in mind high quality missions take time to create and if you really want to, you should look into joining the team and helping create missions.
