Although detaching didn't really stop him either since he just cherry picked commits.
Neostarfall was created by a subcommunity of prior SFEx users who still use it to avoid association with the SFEx developer. We don't have a focus on adoption, we'd need more manpower for that.
But servers that adopt it are welcome to reach out to achieve a maintainer position granted they create a reputation with NSF and/or are already known as prior SFEx contributors so they could always implement any features they want for the interests of their server(s).
If I had infinite time, I'm sure this addon would already be objectively better in every way to SFEx.
Not many servers have Starfall to begin with so something very new and not well known like Neostarfall is going to have trouble with adoption.
And since SFEx was stealing our code (I can provide receipts if you want, autocomplete is the biggest example), we explicitly chose to both rectify this weird license with a real one, and go under GPL.
Also, the biggest change I'd say is the much improved new helper which you can find at https://neostarfall.pages.dev , it looks cleaner, is more organized, has examples, and runs faster.
Most of this development was done in a very short period of time as I and other maintainers don't have much time. I'd be willing to accept more maintainers if any server wants to adopt it but is hesitant about the slower contribution time.
