Current version: 1.2


This mod adds a number of turrets from star wars to the game. They are currently mainly based on the turrets of the CR90 Corellian Corvette / Tantive IV but more will be added in the future. All turrets can accept both red and green gas cartridges as ammo, which changes the color of the bolts they shoot.





The pack currently contains 5 turrets:
  • H9 Dual Laser Cannon (LG)
  • H9 Laser Cannon (SG & LG)
  • H9 Laser Cannon Slanted (LG)
  • Anti-Infantry Turret Droid (LG)
  • Anti-Infantry Turret Droid Mounted (LG)



  • I will be extending the pack in the future, depending on what turrets I need for various builds.
  • An Imperial Turrets mod is also in the work, but still early on. In general, there isn't necessarily a clear delineation between which are rebel and which are imperial turrets. The division between the two mods is mostly arbitrary and depending on which faction used the turret in the movies & series.
  • Balance is still heavily WIP and subject to change drastically.




Q: Can you make a version without WeaponCore?
No.

Q: Will there be a mod.io version?
No. This mod requires various scripts to work, none of which work on consoles.

I'm looking forward to when you add the heavier turbolasers and the lighter anti fighter guns plus torpedoes and missiles, though I'll be looking forward to when you start working on the Imperial Turrets :)

Hey I meant to say this earlier but most ships and turret used by the Rebellion were used in the Clone Wars Era including Corellian Corvettes, of course they weren't used often in combat due to them mainly being used to transport senators. But they still did have some defensive weapons on them for the occasional stray droid attack.

There was also a variant that was often used in combat as a missile boat, I don't remember the name of it but it had a rounded cockpit that you will see in a traditional spaceship.

This isn't meant to change anything, I just wanted to give out some cool facts.

Is there any updates, like the Additional turbo-lasers, laser cannons, ion cannons, fighter hangers, and other large grid based weapons that can reach up to 5 to 10km?

Hey Enera, this is a great start. Any plans for proton torpedo or concussion missile launchers? Ion cannons would be really cool. I'm planning a Star Wars DS in the coming months and a few of your mods are slated to be in it.
