I found out i need to use keyboard to choose the workshop captains and hit enter, then it works, but clicking with mouse just went a screen back each time. now thats odd

It's a pity that it doesn't work for you.
After I enter the mods screen and enable this mod, it works for me.
So I'm not clear what causes this.
