Skull Kid from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask comes to Rivals of Aether! As Majora's puppet, Skull Kid is a fast glass cannon character with some tricks (and curses) up his sleeve!
This was a requested character for resident4444! If you're interested in having me make a character just like this one, then feel free to contact me!

Moveset

Neutral Special
With the power of Majora's Mask, Skull Kid unleashes Majora's Curse on the opponent! Slow, but curses the opponent with random effects if it hits! The possible curses are bury, poison, sleep, freeze, and even a unique Deku Scrub transformation. This move can also be cancelled into if you land an attack beforehand, making it possible to use the curses for combos!

Side Special
Skull Kid uses Majora's dark powers to charge up energy projectiles, throwing multiple smaller ones at lower charge! If charged fully however, Skull Kid will instead ready a large spirit bomb projectile! This move also charges when hitting opponents with physical attacks!

Up Special
Skull Kid fades away as Majora's Mask takes over, floating in the desired direction! You can attack by pressing Special/Attack, making Skull Kid reappear with a blast of darkness! Alternatively, you can also cancel the move early with parry!

Down Special
Skull Kid summons Majora's Moon, which will strike the place it was used after a little while! A pretty slow attack, and the moon will disappear if Skull Kid is defeated, takes enough damage, or gets parried before the moon can come down... But if the moon does appear, it's both incredibly powerful and great for stage control!


Skull Kid also comes with his own stage, Clock Town!

Extras
- Skull Kid has 2 taunts!
- NAir can be held to continue spinning!
- Other characters can have their own Deku Scrub transformations!

just wanted to say thank you so much for making this mod, i have been looking for a while for a skullkid mod but no one would make one so i started working on the moveset myself and you made exactly what i was thinking :D the levitation for a little bit even the fairies coming in i can see the passion in that work good job this is incredible now i need to main this hehe:HappyOtus:

did uptilt get nerfed it doesnt feel as busted for tech chases anymore

I wasn't making a Mario jam character, but also the jam ended a week ago or so anyways!
For non-YTP Mario characters, there's the Toads, King Boo, and Fawful. Though I assume you've already seen them, haha.

I haven't heard of this issue, so can't say? Could be a controller issue or a bugged installation but that's the best guess I got, haha. Glad you like the character though!
