This mod adds the La Fayette-class frigate of the French Navy and the Kang Ding-class frigates (1996 and 2026 configurations) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Navy.

The French version uses the longer range MM40 Exocet and Crotale SAMs. The 1996 Kang Ding is equipped with the Sea Chapparal SAM system while the 2026 Kang Ding has been upgraded with Tien Chien II SAMs in a VLS configuration, a stealthy Oto Melara 76mm turret, and Artisan 3D search radar.

It is a kitbash so you do not need Sea Lifter or 3rd party installers to use this mod.

Before you ask, I plan to add the upgraded French variant with Mistral 3 SAMs and Singaporean Formidable-class variants to this mod eventually.

Updates:
2025-03-12: Added UI flag to bottom. Updated the Bofors turret from the Alvand to the Tiger Fast Forty model (thanks @aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabcd).
2025-03-19: Reduced sonar range to hull mounted model range (vs previously 70km for towed variant). Also added additional Crotale/Sea Chaparral reloads for launchers, and fixed torpedo mount. Thanks all for feedback.
2025-03-30: Fixed MM40 turn rate issue.
2025-05-12: Resized flag to fix UI screen issue. Thanks @steweb5.

La Fayette should have the option to carry Panther or NH90 helicopters.

The issue has been resolved. By reducing the size of flag_roc.png to a width of 32 pixels, it will now display correctly.

Hi: After firing Tien Chien II SAMs, after clicking on a missile, the missile will not be displayed and the icon in the lower right corner will be enlarged by 2/3 of the screen.

Also can 2026 Kang Ding be equipped with Hsiung Feng III missiles?

Hello, in real life the LaFayette as an additionnal 16 Crotale missile that can be loaded in the launcher, could it be possible to model it ? IRL it should take around 10 minutes to reload an entire mag
