Beskrivning
In V68 government points were introduced, requiring nobility assigned to governing to provide a small amount of points. Governors give 5 points, 30 points for noble upgrade 1 and 55 points for noble upgrade 2.This means to have a few large cities you need to devote most of your nobility to governing, and having an empire is impossible unless you have a >10K pop settlement, and even then the size is limited significantly.

This is just a small mod that updates the government points costs for the city centres. Compatible with existing saves on V68.

Updated government points values:
Small Village - 1
Large Village - 2
Small Town - 3
Large Town - 5
Small City - 10
Large City - 20
Metropolis - 30

Thank you! This is working perfectly on a saved game V69.

It would be great if the values were even lower honestly. Even with this mod, I can still only manage like 7-8 cities using all Nobles. Could you make a seperate mod by any chance that has like:
Small Village - 1
Large Village - 2
Small Town - 3
Large Town - 5
Small City - 6
Large City - 7
Metropolis - 8

(notice the highest 3 cities are much lower gov points)

When I first got the game, I flicked through the workshop and saw this - thinking that it was just yet another mod that someone made because they wanted the game on easy mode. 60h in, after dedicating all my nobles to governing and only being able to have 3 moderately improved cities - I quickly understood and came back here lmao

It does NOT work with current saves. Large village is still -6 government points

came from reddit, I just started on V68 so I still dont clearly understand the problem of the current science and gov. balance, but I intent to subscribe once I hit that bottleneck/soft cap
