Holding Weapon Portraits

Update 2025-9-9: CK3 1.17 compatible. Support for More Lifestyles is temporarily removed as it causes some issue when More Lifestyles is not enabled.

Holding Weapon Portraits is a mod makes holding weapon poses more common on characters' portraits, and makes the weapon model on portrait corespond to the actual weapon artifact the character equips.

When a character meets both following conditions, he will get holding weapon pose on his portrait:
(1) equips a weapon artifact;
(2) has martial lifestyle, or has prowess lifestyle (requires More Lifestyles), or is a councillor marshal, or is a knight, or is an adventurer with mercenary purpose, or is an adventurer with brigand purpose .

New Weapon: Greatsword is supported, but not required.

Not compatible with mods altering following files:
