1955 Lancia-Ferrari D50

The very fast and very unlucky Lancia, but very lucky Ferrari. This car was made to adhere to road, with limited skills it is advisable not to overdrive it. With great skills you can overdrive it moderately. Please be careful with setup, controlability responds very sensitively to it.

Lancia D50 was a jewel and apex of Lancias "D" program. The design was led by legendary Vittorio Jano. The car won F1 championship in 1956 driven by Fangio, and credited as Ferrari although design was still majorly the same. Ferraris further modification of D50, largely modified towards traditional way, was named 801 and it was not successful. However Ferrari 246 of 1958 also still had a lot of D50 design, and it still had Jano as tecnical director, 246 model won championship again, also remains last front engined car model to win a race in F1.

Mod version 0.6

This mod is focusing on 1955-early 1956 car. Before Ferrari started modifying it more.

-Englebert tires. They perform worse that Pirellis, but they are easier to drive;
-Experimental AWD drivetrain which Lancia made and tested.
